I love mandalas, and here at Mandala Boss, I help ambitious women to create beautiful digital mandalas with tools that work! In this space, I share with you all my tips and tricks about digital mandalas using Procreate.

My name is Fernanda, and in the mandala world of Instagram, I am known by the creative designs I post under the handle @ataraxiaowl. I am also known as the host of the great mandala challenges such as mandalatober, 7mandalaschallenge, and holidaymandala.

You might be wondering why I created the Mandala Boss. Once in my meditations, I had an idea about creating a place where a mandala artist could find everything she needs for her mandala work. I postponed this idea for six months, thinking I should not pursue it. The universe continued giving me signs that others would benefit from this action, and then, I decided to create the Mandala Boss. The inner force that made me create this space is that I want to be the vehicle that makes each one of you able to enjoy digital mandala artwork. I believe once a person starts drawing digital mandalas, she will see and feel the benefits of this practice in her life. By nurturing this hobby, it can totally become a business like mine.

I started drawing mandalas using paper-and-pencil back in 2016. At the end of that year, I got my first iPad and migrated to digital mandalas. As I began drawing mandalas digitally, I felt an explosion of creativity in my designs. All the fear of damaging a mandala went away. If I tried something different and made a mistake, no problem, I could undo that. Drawing with an iPad allowed me to explore many new things that wouldn’t be possible using paper-and-pencil.

Since I started drawing digital mandalas, I have stuck to this practice by drawing often. Then, I started selling my art. Lately, I have noticed that I should not keep this knowledge only to myself, and this is the reason I decided to share my tools with you.
